Learning Assistant

Dunwoody College of Technology is hiring a Learning Assistant to work together with our Provost’s Office to support our faculty initiatives and continue to grow the college as a leader in technical education. As the Learning Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the academic division of the college and play a vital role in aiding faculty members to optimize their programs and create a better learning environment for our students. You will work very closely with the Deans and Program Managers along with the Provost and Vice Provost to accomplish these initiatives.


  • Provide administrative support to the academic division, specifically the Provost, Vice Provost, Academic Deans and Program Managers.
  • Support Executive Assistant of Provost and Vice-Provost with conference/event planning, expense reports, meeting preparation, and accreditation visits
  • Monitor room usage and communicate to students and staff via online newsletters
  • Distribute surveys and documentation to staff and faculty
  • Process letters for the Provost office in response to student requests
  • Assist with updating and distribution of faculty and student handbooks
  • Generate reports for the Provost’s office using various internal systems
  • Maintain faculty assignment database
  • Update databases and directories regularly
  • Prepare notices for weekly Dunwoody student and staff publications
  • Maintain guidelines, repository of minutes, assessment reports and other information as related to Dunwoody’s external academic advisory committees
  • Cultivate a high degree of professionalism and provide high levels of customer service
  • Foster a positive and customer-service oriented environment within and between departments of the college.

  • Associate’s degree or higher (preferred)
