House Supervisor - Program Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual with proven leadership skills to work as Program Manager. This is a leadership, supervisory position which manages staff and volunteers. This person is responsible for the overall program and operation of the home you supervise. 

This is a full time, benefits eligible position. We currently have positions available in Crystal and Plymouth.

Examples of Work Performed:

  • Coordinates internal and external resources to enhance the lives of the individuals living at Homeward Bound.
  • Manage standard operating procedures within the assigned home to assure compliance with organizational policies/procedures/standards, and state licensing requirements.
  • Responsible for QMRP services for all individuals in assigned home.
  • Manages physical and financial resources within the assigned home.
  • Coordinates and facilitates IDT meetings, and ensures comprehensive program plans, risk management plans.
  • Plans and facilitates employee meetings, initial training, and ongoing training.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Designated coordinator qualified with a combination of education/experience totaling 4 FTEs with schooling in a field related to human services 

                OR 

  • Four year degree in an approved area of study and one year (FTE) experience with people with developmental disabilities 

                              PLUS

  • A valid Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record is mandatory.
  • You must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds as most of our individuals require assistance with transfers.
  • You must be able to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work as a team player as well as independently.
  • Because we provide services to vulnerable children and adults Homeward Bound can only employ applicants who pass a criminal background check.

Preferred:

  • Program and positive intervention experience.
  • One year supervisory experience.
