Behavior Therapist (Full Time and Part Time Available)

Behavioral Dimensions provides in-home services to families throughout the greater Twin Cities metro area and far-reaching suburbs, Todd and Stearns counties, Cambridge, and Duluth.

Working at Behavioral Dimensions is an opportunity to be part of a team of highly-trained professionals who are committed to providing quality services for children with autism. Promotion opportunities are available to staff who demonstrate a high level of competency and commitment, and who produce superb outcomes with children. Behavior Therapists are responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention (IBI) to young children with autism in their homes using the precise scientific application of behavior analysis.  Thorough training is provided.

During your training: You will learn how to apply behavior analysis techniques to teach language skills to children with autism, and will be taught how to implement a very prescribed curriculum using carefully designed teaching techniques.  You will receive support from supervisors on an on-going basis to improve your own professional skills, and any unusual learning or behavioral difficulties will be addressed rapidly by the clinical team.
