Our direct support professionals, nurses, nurse care managers, supervisors and managers work together to provide respectful, dignified personal assistance and support to children and adults with disabilities.

Homeward Bound employs Licensed Practical nurses. Working as a nurse at HBI is fun, challenging and extremely rewarding. Homeward Bound nurses are responsible for the delivery of specialized health care services. Nurses work together to ensure that the individual maintains optimal health and physical well-being. Nursing professionals work closely with Program services to ensure a holistic approach to the individuals we serve and their needs. This position requires a current nursing license in the state of MN. NEW GRADS WELCOME!


Join our team and make a difference in people's lives while developing valuable nursing skills working with 2 individuals who need skilled nursing in a home-like setting in New Hope. Open position includes 48 hr/pp day shift.

Requirements: 

  • A valid Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record is mandatory.
  • You must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds as most of our individuals require assistance with transfers.
  • You must be able to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Because we provide services to vulnerable children and adults Homeward Bound will only employ applicants who pass a criminal background check.
  • Current nursing license in the state of MN.
