Department Overview

The Psychiatric and Psychological departments provide services on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses, with limited services at Woodwinds in Woodbury and Children's West in Minnetonka. Specific services include individual and family therapy, psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and psychiatric evaluation and medication management (Available to children who are already patients of Children's mental health, pediatric, or subspecialty clinics).

Position Summary

Performs general behavioral, emotional, and intellectual evaluation and treatment of patients using appropriate clinical diagnostic and intervention methods. This includes specific expertise in assessment and treatment of a broad array of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, including internalizing and externalizing disorders, somatoform disorders, as well as medical psychological issues, and family functioning issues. This position reports to the Associate Clinical Director, Psychological Services and may be assigned to either or both of Children's primary campuses. In addition to outpatient mental health services, responsibilities also include support of medical specialty clinics and inpatient consults.

Qualifications
Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota. A doctorate in psychology from an accredited graduate program. Clinical internship from an APA-accredited program.

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
