Description: -Work with business and technical teams to define business needs
-Gather and document business requirements
-Translate business requirements into technical requirements
-Work with developers to create and document system design
-Provide input to project plans
-Create and maintain user documentation for data marts
-Coordinate and interact with appropriate teams on defects, changes, issues and enhancements that may impact development, data, workflow and/or functionality
-Conduct data analysis in regards to the business needs
-Assist with creating and executing test plans
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or equivalent IT work experience
-Five years of business analysis, data analysis, or IT work experience
-Three to five years of professional experience in database technologies
-Testing experience
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Ability to query relational databases
-Strong understanding of data modeling and data mapping
-Ability to effectively communicate
-Ability to work on assigned tasks without daily interaction with supervisor
-Ability to successfully multitask
-Ability to set timelines and meet deadlines
-Strong analytical, reasoning, problem solving, organization, and negotiation skills
-Healthcare industry experience preferred
