Description:
This position is responsible for developing, documenting, distributing and ensuring the information content quality and integrity of store brands finished product specifications and related documents. In addition, this position uses the outcome of marketplace audits to determine compliance to and integrity of the product specification, and to coordinate any specification updates required as a result of the marketplace audits.
Skills:
*** B.S. in Food Science or related field
*** 3-5+ years food product, ingredient and packaging specification development and maintenance experience and/or 3-5+ years broad consumer food product development and/or consumer food processing experience
*** Knowledge of food quality systems, GMPs, food safety, sanitation, sensory evaluation and HACCP
*** Demonstrated project leadership skills and experience
Collaborative and team oriented; able to use informal leadership skills to influence group decision making
*** Strong organizational skills; ability to be both detail and process oriented
*** Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
*** Electronic product lifecycle management (PLM) experience
*** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
