Description: Senior Quality Analyst/Software Engineer: Actively participate on mainframe team in support of assigned applications to help meet quarterly release goals. In Software Engineering role, perform spec review, develop technical designs, code and unit test. In QA role, set direction for testing working with team, design and communicate test plan and status of test effort during test execution. Work in an agile environment to meet sprint and release goals. Act as point of contact for all escalated support calls and coordinate resolution with our customers. Actively participate in planning sessions to identify sequence and approach to release/sprint development, coordinate and/or lead design sessions to influence design based on customer needs, using the agile approach of "test first", create test cases and test data to certify that the specifications are satisfied, execute test cases, report defects, develop test cases/test data to certify defect fixes and lead the Demo/Retrospective reviews at the end of each sprint. Other key roles will be the oversight, coordination and development of automated solutions for assigned products/projects and the review and certification of documentation that is delivered to clients along with our software.
