Program Manager, Radiologic Technology MAJOR OBJECTIVE: To provide administration of the Radiologic Technologist Program as well as ensure quality and integrity of the curriculum offered, and to provide strong leadership and direction to the Radiologic Technologist Program. Initiate the teaching and learning process with a focus on continuous improvement. Create an environment in which students can accomplish the learning objectives of the course of instruction. Design and develop new curriculum. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Supervises and evaluates faculty in Radiologic Technologist Program in addition to providing support, coaching, and guidance to faculty members. * Facilitates learning activities so that students learn the principles, theory, skills, and work ethic necessary to become proficient for entry level positions. * Monitors, assesses and advises learners on technical and academic progress and performance. * Uses current academic and industry practices in assigned courses of instruction. * Develops and upgrades lesson material, training aids and maintains equipment within assigned course of instruction. * Assists in the recruitment and placement of learners. * Maintains equipment and coordinates new equipment purchases within the Radiologic Technologist Program when needed. * Designs and develops new curriculum within the Radiologic Technologist Program. * Participates in industry and/or professional organizations in order to maintain and enhance program health and academic integrity. * Directs scheduling, budgeting and curriculum health improvements in Radiologic Technologist Program. * Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree required. * Documented equivalent of three years full-time experience in Radiologic Technology. * Documented two years experience as an instructor in a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program. * Holds an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent. * Proficient in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and counseling.
